Provision of Life-Saving Protection Services to the conflict affected girls and boys at risk of violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect in North Region of Afghanistan

 

YHDO has been implementing project for Provision of Life-Saving Protection Services

to the conflict affected girls and boys at risk of violence, abuse,
exploitation and neglect.

Location:
Frayab and Balkh province- 11 districts of two provinces covered.

Feb 2020-August 2020

The
project designed that 1) Girls and boys affected by the ongoing humanitarian
emergency are assisted, protected and provided with quality appropriate support
services that include psychosocial support and case management. 2) Community
based structures are strengthened to support the prevention and response of
child protection risks due to humanitarian emergencies including negative coping
mechanisms.  3) Gender Based violence
services are provided to adolescent girls in child Friendly spaces, ensuring
disabled girls and boys and other children at risk are not discriminated and
participate in structured activities and access other services like
psychosocial support and case management and 4) Capacity Building for key CP
Actors, to train child protection actors providing child protection in
emergency services, and report on grave violation and MRM.
