YHDO Governance
YHDO governance structure consists of:
1. General Assembly: The General Assembly is the highest
decision-making body of the organization. General Assembly is regularly holding
annual meetings. Also, in case of urgency or suggestion of two third of the
board of directors the general assembly meeting will be held.
2. Board of Directors: The
Board of Directors is responsible to see that procedures are in place and ensure
constitutional responsibilities are met, and that an effective organization
compliance program has been established. YHDO board of Directors consist of 8
members.
3. Executive Board: The
executive board consist of; 1) Executive Director, 2) Deputy Director, 3)
Technical Manager, 4) Finance manager and 5) Administrative in-charge.
The Executive Director is
members of board of directors, and appointed for four years. The other four
members of the Executive Board are employees of the organization appointed by
the Executive Director and endorsed by the board of directors through the
interviewing process.
4. Program Support Department (PSD): PSD Manages
program implementation at Kabul main office under the direct supervision of
Executive Director and oversees by the Executive Board and Board of Directors.
All key decisions are discussed and decided upon by the Executive Board of the
organization under close supervision of Board of Directors. The PSD consists of
Technical and Operation Departments.
4.1. Technical Department:
YHDO has established various technical teams for effectively implementation of
the projects. The technical departments lead by project managers and operation
director are:

response to GBV
• Child
protection
• Knowledge
management and research
• Community
development
4.2. Operation Department consist of Admin, Human
Resource Managment, Finance and Accounting, Procurement, Logistic and Security
and Safety units
