Who We Are

Youth Health and Development Organization (YHDO) is a nationally trusted Afghan humanitarian and development organization delivering integrated, life-saving and resilience-building services. Established in 2009, YHDO combines deep field access, strong technical expertise and proven compliance systems to work effectively in complex, high-risk and hard-to-reach environments.

YHDO specializes in health, nutrition, human rights, child protection, access to justice, livelihoods, emergency response, education, research and community development. Its programmes prioritize vulnerable and marginalized populations, including women, children, returnees and internally displaced people.
