Promoting Child Rights in Afghanistan
YHDO, with Financial support from the US government, DRL program, is implementing a project to promote Children’s Rights in Afghanistan, The project is designed to raise public awareness of children’s rights and create a grassroots movement to inspire change where communities support, not stigmatize, survivors and push for perpetrators of crimes against children to be held accountable for this crime Activities and Services
1.Engage influential community members to promote child rights and speak out against Bacha Bazi.
2.Train civil society groups on safe and ethical reporting and advocacy against Bacha Bazi.
3.Strengthen community structures for child protection prevention and response.
4.Provide community-based support, including psychosocial first aid, counseling, safety, and health services.

Child Protection
Provision of emergency child protection services for children
YHDO, with Financial and technical support from UNICEF, is implementing a project to provide emergency child protection services for children affected by drought, economic crises, in the western region of the country.The project is designed to contribute to emergency protection concerns, and the risks of boys and girls are reduced through improved access to child protection services,. 1)Establishment of Child Friendly Space, MHPSS, Education.
2)Establishment of Community Based Child Protection Committee (CBCPC)
3.)Identification, Management and referral of CP cases
4.)Provision of Explosive Ordinance Risk Education (EORE)
5).Capacity Building Training for CBCPCs members and Staff
