1. Global Action to Prevent and Address Trafficking in Persons and Migrant Smuggling (GLO.ACT), Asia and Middle East
To improve the health, wellbeing, and livelihoods of vulnerable groups affected by drug use, human trafficking, and migrant smuggling, YHDO is implementing the GLO.ACT project in Kandahar. The project, funded by GLO.ACT, also builds the capacity of medical staff and others to identify and refer victims of trafficking and smuggling. Activities

5.Provide voluntary confidential counselling and testing (VCCT).

2. Operational Support to Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centers in Afghanistan
YHDO, with the financial support of the UNODC, established two centers in Nimroz and Herat Provinces to provide Opioid substitution therapy for drug users, The overall goal of the project is to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable populations through increasing access to integrated, qualitative, and comprehensive Drug Use and Drug Use Disorders Treatment services Services /Activities
1.Establishment, operation and management of centers
2.Outreach, identification, motivation and referal of PWUD
3.Provision of IPD, OPD, Lab , STI and social services
4. Daily distribution of Methadone , tappering , drug free

Child Protection
1. Promoting Child Rights in Afghanistan
YHDO, with Financial support from the US government, DRL program, is implementing a project to promote Children’s Rights in Afghanistan, The project is designed to raise public awareness of children’s rights and create a grassroots movement to inspire change where communities support, not stigmatize, survivors and push for perpetrators of crimes against children to be held accountable for this crime Activities and Services
1.Engage influential community members to promote child rights and speak out against Bacha Bazi.
2.Train civil society groups on safe and ethical reporting and advocacy against Bacha Bazi.
3.Strengthen community structures for child protection prevention and response.
4.Provide community-based support, including psychosocial first aid, counseling, safety, and health services.

Community Development Services
1. Vocational Training, social reintegration and Employment of Recovered Drug Users
YHDO with financial support from UNODC implements Vocational Skill project To increase social reintegration and employment of recovering drug users enabling them to sustain their recovery into the society by providing specialized marketable vocational skills training. Activities and Services
1.Provision of vocational skill program for 900 recovering drug users in 5 Provinces.
2.Procurement and Distribution of start up Kit to the graduated trainees
