YHDO policies: YHDO has developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and has developed Institutional Manual which aims to facilitate transparent and democratic governance of YHDO. YHDO has developed policies and procedures to ensure accountability and control within the organization. The policies are:

§ YHDO has received an Excellence Award for Human Resource Management by Afghanistan Institute of Civil Society (AICS).

§ The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MOLSA) of Afghanistan has recognized YHDO among the Top 10 non-governmental national organizations working for children’s rights in Afghanistan.

§ On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Independence Day of Afghanistan, the government of Afghanistan has recognized YHDO among the top 100 organizations working in Afghanistan.
